Teper Lab

Plant-Microbe Interactions

Disease caused by plant-pathogenic bacteria result in significant yield loss in many crop plants. The Teper lab is interested in exploring the molecular mechanisms that enable bacterial plant pathogens to promote disease and utilize this understanding for designing and implementing novel techniques for disease control. To study this complex interaction, we use multi-disciplinary approaches by combining functional genomics, biochemical tools, genetics, and computational tools.
